Soccer Recap: Tri-County Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Tri-County was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They came up short against the Swain County Maroon Devils, falling 9-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Swain County this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in March.

Tri-County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9-1. As for Swain County, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.

Meanwhile, Swain County is set to challenge their familiar foe Murphy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Swain County are on a six-game streak of home wins, Murphy a five-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
