Perkins-Tryon came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-2 to the Guthrie Bluejays. The Demons' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Perkins-Tryon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James Garner, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Perkins-Tryon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Guthrie, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 14-0.

Coincidentally, Perkins-Tryon and Guthrie will both be playing Chisholm the next time they take the field. The Demons will head out to face the Longhorns at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Bluejays will play them later in the day, at 2:30 p.m.
