Soccer Recap: Norris Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Gretna East, Norris was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Standing Bear Grizzlies a 2-0 shutout.

Ally Kohler and Taylor Howard scored both of Norris' goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Norris' win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5. As for Standing Bear, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Norris is set to face off against their familiar foe Hastings at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Standing Bear will take on rival Waverly at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
