Basketball Game Preview: Medina Battling Bees vs. Shaker Heights Red Raiders

The Medina Battling Bees will take on the Shaker Heights Red Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Medina took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Sunday. They took their game with ease, bagging an 81-45 win over Garrett Morgan. The Battling Bees have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Shaker Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against Brunswick, falling 81-61. While losing is never fun, the Red Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 488th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 60th).

Shaker Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Medina, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.
