Volleyball Recap: Roosevelt's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Roosevelt saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Crean Lutheran Saints. The loss put an end to the Mustangs' undefeated start to the season.

Chisom Ude paced Roosevelt's offense, picking up seven kills. Ude got some help from Mya Capistrano and her 11 assists. Capistrano was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Roosevelt fell to 2-1. As for Crean Lutheran, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Roosevelt has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Costa Mesa on the 16th. As for Crean Lutheran, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Beckman on the 16th.
