Soccer Game Preview: Berkner vs. Richardson

The Berkner Rams are taking a road trip to square off against the Richardson Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Berkner's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Berkner fell victim to White and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Longhorns.

Meanwhile, Richardson also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell 2-0 to Odessa on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 443rd, while the Bronchos are ranked 116th).

Berkner now has a losing record at 1-2-2. As for Richardson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-1.

Berkner might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Richardson in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Berkner avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
