Soccer Recap: M.L. King Takes a Loss

M.L. King fell victim to Pace Academy and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Pace Academy Knights, falling 12-0. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

M.L. King's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pace Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. M.L. King will host Drew at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. M.L. King will be up against Drew's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.86 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Pace Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lambert at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Pace Academy will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each game than the last.
