Basketball Recap: Hollister's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

After losing to Marina the last time they met, Hollister decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hollister Haybalers secured a 50-45 W over the Marina Mariners on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Haybalers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The win got Hollister back to even at 5-5. As for Marina, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Hollister will be playing in front of their home fans against Seaside at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hollister is facing Seaside at the right time seeing as Seaside is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Marina, they will head out on the road to face off against Stevenson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
