The Ririe Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Marsing Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Ririe blew past Malad, posting a 46-14 victory at home. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 46-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Dragons cut but never quite recovered from.

Kolter Lewis had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. The team also got some help courtesy of Breylon Moon, who rushed for 13 yards and a touchdown.

Ririe wouldn't let Malad keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Ririe can thank Gabe Montero and John Slachter for forcing both of them.

Meanwhile, Marsing didn't have too much trouble with Wendell at home on Friday as they won 35-20. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

Marsing's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaden Shaw, who picked up 85 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Jace Chadez was in the mix too, providing Marsing with two touchdowns.

Marsing's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Levi Puga and Chadez. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in rushing yards.
