Baseball Game Preview: Cardinal Huskies vs. Harvey Red Raiders

For the second straight game, Cardinal will face off against Harvey. The Huskies will challenge the Red Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cardinal comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Cardinal is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They fell just short of Harvey by a score of 5-4 on Monday.

For Harvey's part, Joey DiAlfredi spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on three hits and racked up six Ks. Those six strikeouts set a new season-high mark for DiAlfredi.

At the plate, Ryan Delaney was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of Harvey's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 3-1 (and 0-3 when he doesn't). Edson Pacheco also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Cardinal's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Harvey, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.
