Perry has gone 9-1 against Newkirk recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Perry Maroons are taking a road trip to square off against the Newkirk Tigers at 8:00 p.m. Perry has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 14.

Last Saturday, Perry lost to Clinton on the road by a 52-38 margin.

Meanwhile, Newkirk came into Saturday's matchup having lost 14 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Webbers Falls by a score of 54-43 on Saturday.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Newkirk, their victory ended an eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-17.

Perry didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Newkirk in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 39-33 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Perry since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
