Volleyball Recap: Liberty's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Liberty had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Montcalm Generals. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Generals, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Liberty took every set by at least 25 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 21-8-3. As for Montcalm, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Liberty wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Wyoming East on the 14th. As for Montcalm, they are taking a road trip to take on Bluefield at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
