Softball Recap: Timberline Wolves vs. Borah Lions

On Friday, Timberline faced Borah in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Timberline Wolves lost 12-2 to the Borah Lions. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, Timberline couldn't push the score so high this time.

Timberline saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashlyn Graklanoff, who went 1-for-3 with a triple and a run.

On Borah's side, they got a massive performance out of Kayla Campbell, who went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Olyvia Chalifoux, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Timberline's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Borah, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-7.

Timberline does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Borah, they will head out on the road to face off against Capital at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Borah is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.
