Basketball Recap: West Marion Takes a Loss

West Marion lost against Tylertown last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The West Marion Trojans received a blow as they fell 42-25 to the Tylertown Chiefs. The Trojans just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

West Marion's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Tylertown, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

West Marion is taking a road trip to challenge St. Patrick at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Patrick will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something West Marion surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tylertown, they will welcome Perry Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Tylertown is facing Perry Central at the right time seeing as Perry Central is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
