Softball Preview: Walter Johnson Wildcats vs. Damascus Hornets

Last Thursday, Walter Johnson got the win against Wheaton by a conclusive 13-1. While fans of Walter Johnson might be used to big wins, the 12-run margin marked the team's biggest one yet.

Meanwhile, Damascus entered their tilt with Churchill with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They never let the Bulldogs onto the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Thursday.

The result came thanks to Alyssa Clark's shutout, as she gave up just five hits and racked up 15 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't pitched less than six innings in four consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Kailyn Sheahin was incredible, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Falyn Quick, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
