Basketball Recap: Rivercrest Comes Up Short

Rivercrest was the 51-46 winner over Clarksville when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Rivercrest Rebels fell to the Clarksville Tigers 46-41. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clarksville was led to victory by La'Broderick Rosser and Braden Rosser. La'Broderick went 6 for 8 on his way to 16 points and eight boards, while Braden dropped a double-double on 14 points and 16 rebounds. What's more, La'Broderick also racked up two blocks, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Jordan Daniels was another key player, putting up two points in addition to six steals and five assists.

Rivercrest's defeat dropped their record down to 9-21. As for Clarksville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-11 record this season.

Rivercrest has already played their next matchup, a 56-40 win against Detroit on the 7th. As for Clarksville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 60-42 victory against Maud on the 7th.
