Volleyball Recap: New Hampstead Comes Up Short

New Hampstead was the 2-0 winner over Jenkins when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Phoenix took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors on Tuesday.

New Hampstead was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-23.

Among those leading the charge was Aniah Douglas, who had six aces.

New Hampstead's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Jenkins, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, New Hampstead will take on The Habersham School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Phoenix surely won't give up without a fight. As for Jenkins, they will head out on the road to take on Beach at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
