Hermitage extended the longest winning streak in AAA Colonial this week by beating Marshall, 62-0. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Godwin moved up to 100 from 129 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Eagles climbed the ranks as a result of beating Jefferson 41-0.
The Vikings' Maurice Watkins and Anas Elkattan have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Watkins has thrown for 141 yards this season, while Elkattan, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has four catches for 88 yards. Hermitage's Derrick Green leads the league in rushing yards with 421.
A big matchup in AAA Colonial this week will be when Deep Run takes on Patrick Kane's team. As it stands, the Wildcats are in fourth, while the Panthers are in first.
Henry made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,667 from 8,817. The improvement came about via a 21-14 victory over the Patriots last week.
