            Baseball Preview: Brunswick Blue Devils vs. Cleveland Heights Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            For the second straight game, Brunswick will face off against Cleveland Heights. The Blue Devils will take on the Tigers at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Brunswick is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2  runs per game  this season.
Brunswick took a loss when they played away from home  on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Monday. Everything went their way against Cleveland Heights as they made off with  a  12-2 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Blue Devils needed considering they were shut out in their previous   contest.
Brunswick got a great performance from  Brooks Relic as he  pitched five innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   three  hits.

 At the plate,  Elijah Poindexter was  incredible,  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. He is becoming a predictor of Brunswick's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is undefeated (and 2-6 when he doesn't).  Zachary Callahan also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  double of the season.
 Brunswick  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters  in three consecutive  games.
 Brunswick has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Cleveland Heights,  they are  on  an  eight-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-9.
