Baseball Recap: Watonga Eagles vs. Cashion Wildcats

Watonga extended their losing streak to 11 on Thursday, dropping them down to 4-28. They lost 19-1 to the Cashion Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-2 back in March.

As for Cashion, they pushed their record up to 22-6 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games.

On Cashion's side, Kyle Yowell was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and one double. That's the most RBI Yowell has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Rival Fields, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
