Football Game Preview: Colts Neck Cougars vs. Freehold Boro Colonials

The Colts Neck Cougars are taking a road trip to face off against the Freehold Boro Colonials at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Colts Neck lost to Matawan Regional on the road by a 28-14 margin.

Zack Caporale put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 69 yards and one score, and also threw for 105 yards while completing 82.4% of his passes.

Meanwhile, Freehold Boro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by Ocean Township and fell 42-13.

Colts Neck will have to keep a close watch on Damier Lester and Julian Isaacs, a pair of players who had a big impact on Freehold Boro's prior game. Lester rushed for 75 yards and one touchdown, while Isaacs rushed for 50 yards and one TD. Lester really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.

Colts Neck's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Freehold Boro, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-4.
