After a string of four wins, Foresthill's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sacramento Waldorf Waves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Waves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Foresthill started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-15, 25-8, 26-24.

Foresthill's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Sacramento Waldorf, their record now sits at 14-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Foresthill will square off against rival John Adams Academy Rsvl/Lin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sacramento Waldorf is set to take on their familiar foe Encina at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
