Cleveland extended their postseason success on Friday against Garner. They never let the Trojans get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. Considering the Rams have won 14 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Not much got past Karsyn Hudacky, who gave up just three hits to keep Garner off the board. Hudacky has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 18 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Jazz Linares was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Izzy Sholar also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.
Cleveland's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games.
