Baseball Recap: Fort Bend Travis Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fort Bend Travis can now relate to. They came up short against the Pearland Oilers on Thursday, falling 10-0. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Tigers, who until this matchup were averaging 4.09 runs allowed.

Fort Bend Travis saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Hogan, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Fort Bend Travis has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-15-1 record this season. As for Pearland, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-8-1.
