Baseball Game Preview: Central Wildcats vs. Wilson Warriors

The Central Wildcats will face off against the Wilson Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Central will be strutting in after a victory while Wilson will be coming in after a loss.

Wilson will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Central extended their winning streak to three on Friday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over Hatton. The Wildcats not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 8th.

Meanwhile, Wilson came up short against Rogers on Tuesday, falling 14-2. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wilson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryson Pickens, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Wilson's defeat dropped their record down to 10-21. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 16-9.

Central skirted past Wilson 2-1 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
