Soccer Recap: Neumann Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The matchup between Neumann and Evangelical Christian on Tuesday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Celtics lost 8-1 to the Sentinels. Surprisingly, this marked Neumann's fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Their goal came courtesy of Brooke Shefsky, who's now up to eight this season.

Neumann's loss dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Evangelical Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Neumann will head out on the road to take on Southwest Florida Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neumann will be up against Southwest Florida Christian's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.25 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Evangelical Christian, they will welcome Donahue Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Evangelical Christian's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
