Jonathan Doty posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out five batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits.

Doty's strong effort led Intermountain Christian over American Heritage and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
