The Making Waves Academy Marlins will head out on the road to face off against the Valley Christian Vikings at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Valley Christian took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Making Waves Academy, who comes in off a win.

Making Waves Academy will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Oakland Military Institute, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Making Waves Academy put the hurt on Oakland Military Institute with a sharp 67-44 victory on Friday. The Marlins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Valley Christian ended up a good deal behind Jewish Community on Tuesday and lost 76-58. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Making Waves Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a massive bump to their 17-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points over those games. As for Valley Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.
