Basketball Recap: Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Takes a Loss

Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were outmatched by Thomas Jefferson and fell 70-28. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Thomas Jefferson apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Rashad Stevenson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Thomas Jefferson, putting up 24 points along with six rebounds and five assists. The matchup was Stevenson's 11th in a row with at least 16 points. Affremai Geary was another key player, scoring nine points and six boards.

Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Thomas Jefferson, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.

Looking ahead, Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy will challenge Jefferson RISE Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
