Basketball Recap: Burley Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Burley had won five straight games and Adalynn Olmos did her part to make it six on Saturday. The Burley Bobcats blew past the Vallivue Falcons 62-25 thanks in part to Olmos, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 15.6 points per game.

Sydney Sheets was another key player, putting up four points along with five assists and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.

Burley's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points per game. As for Vallivue, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Burley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-19 win against Century on the 10th. As for Vallivue, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 53-39 defeat against Columbia on the 10th.
