Football Game Preview: Bastrop Rams vs. North Webster Knights

The Bastrop Rams will head out on the road to take on the North Webster Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bastrop is looking for their season's first win.

On Thursday, Bastrop was beaten by Richwood 36-6. While losing is never fun, Bastrop can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked 260th, while Richwood is ranked 111th).

Meanwhile, North Webster scored first but ultimately less than Many in their matchup on Friday. They took a 28-12 bruising from the Tigers. While the Knights didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 6-0 in the first quarter.

Bastrop's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for North Webster, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Bastrop skirted past North Webster 8-6 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Knights' Braedon Robertson, who rushed for 105 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries.
