Basketball Game Preview: St. Joseph Central Catholic Crimson Streaks vs. Lakota Raiders

The St. Joseph Central Catholic Crimson Streaks will head out to face off against the Lakota Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Joseph Central Catholic is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Last Friday, St. Joseph Central Catholic was beaten by Hopewell-Loudon 63-34.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lakota). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat St. Mary Central Catholic 61-20. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 46-7.

St. Joseph Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Lakota, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

St. Joseph Central Catholic was taken down by Lakota 74-47 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can St. Joseph Central Catholic avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
