Basketball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a blow against the South Oak Cliff Bears, falling 57-16. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-15 back in January.

Kemoria Davis was Jefferson's leading scorer, having posted six points. Davis also led the team in rebounds with seven.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for South Oak Cliff, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-17.

Jefferson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Oak Cliff, they will face off against Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hillcrest will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something South Oak Cliff surely won't give up without a fight.
