Soccer Game Preview: Pitman vs. Turlock

The Pitman Pride will square off against the Turlock Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

Pitman took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They never let Modesto onto the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The Pride might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Turlock hasn't lost a match since January 14th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-2 win over Gregori. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by exactly two goals.

They hit Gregori with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alexander Navas, Mathew Mendoza, Fernando Carbajal, and Sebastian Carbajal.

Turlock has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-5-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those seven games. As for Pitman, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4-2.
