Softball Recap: Heritage Comes Up Short

If Heritage was riding high fresh off their 20-5 takedown of Palm Bay last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Heritage came up short against the Satellite Scorpions on Thursday, falling 20-3. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Scorpions recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Heritage saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kelly Brown, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits Brown has posted since back in April of 2024.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Satellite, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Heritage has already played their next game, a 17-0 defeat against Sebastian River on the 7th. As for Satellite, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 20-0 victory against Cocoa on the 7th.
