Volleyball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Buchholz's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Buchholz saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top against the Menendez Falcons by a score of 2-0.

Buchholz found their leader in sophomore Julia Almond, who had four digs and three aces. Almond is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 16 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Buchholz is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Menendez, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

Buchholz has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against University Christian on the 3rd. As for Menendez, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Stanton on the 3rd.
