Basketball Recap: Piscataway Comes Up Short

Piscataway was the 57-32 winner over Calvary Christian when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Piscataway Chiefs took a 48-32 bruising from the Calvary Christian Lions on Wednesday. The contest marked the Chiefs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Piscataway and nudges their season record down to 5-9. As for Calvary Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season.

Piscataway will challenge Watchung Hills Regional on February 27th. Piscataway is facing Watchung Hills Regional at the right time seeing as Watchung Hills Regional is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
