Eastern had won 20 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they bumped up to 18-7 to make it 21. They put the hurt on the Clinton Prairie Gophers with a sharp 3-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Comets have posted against the Gophers since October 1, 2019.

Eastern was led to victory by Lauren Hendricks and Savannah Smith. Hendricks had 19 digs, while Smith had 17 assists and eight digs. That's the most digs Smith has posted since September 4th.

As for Clinton Prairie, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered against Eastern since October 1, 2019.

When it comes to explaining why Clinton Prairie lost, don't look at Cambell Carter. Despite the final result, she had 19 digs and three assists.

Eastern has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Elwood on the 6th. As for Clinton Prairie, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Rossville on the 2nd.
