Basketball Game Preview: Raines Vikings vs. Ribault Trojans

Raines is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Saturday. They will be playing at home against the Ribault Trojans at 7:30 p.m. Raines has given up an average of 53.5 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Raines' tournament run continued when they took on Bloomingdale on Saturday. The Vikings fell 58-54 to the Bulls.

Meanwhile, Ribault entered their tilt with Fletcher on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Senators 65-40. The Trojans pushed the score to 52-24 by the end of the third, a deficit the Senators cut but never quite recovered from.

Raines' defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Ribault, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Raines didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Ribault when the teams last played back in February, but they still walked away with a 70-66 victory. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
