Soccer Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Centennial's offense. They came up short against the Hayes Pacers on Saturday, falling 5-0. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Centennial came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 147th, while Hayes are ranked 349th).

Centennial dropped their record down to 3-3-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Hayes, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5-1.

Looking ahead, Centennial will venture away from home to face off against Mifflin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hayes, they will take on Worthington Kilbourne at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
