Football Recap: Lehi Comes Up Short

Lehi blew Mountain Ridge out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Mountain Ridge got their revenge. The Pioneers fell just short of the Sentinels by a score of 9-7. The Pioneers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Sentinels apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2020.

Wyatt Bingham threw for 63 yards on three of seven attempts. Legend Glasker was his top target, picking up 58 receiving yards. On the ground, Devaughn Eka rushed for 38 yards.

Lehi's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Mountain Ridge, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lehi will take on Kuna at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mountain Ridge, they will face off against Davis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
