Football Recap: Lehi Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Mountain Ridge

Lehi faced Mountain Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Pioneers fell just short of the Sentinels by a score of 9-7. Having soared to a lofty 55 points in the game before, the Pioneers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Wyatt Bingham threw for 63 yards on three of seven attempts. Legend Glasker was his top target, picking up 58 receiving yards. On the ground, Devaughn Eka rushed for 38 yards.

Lehi's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Mountain Ridge, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lehi will square off against Kuna at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mountain Ridge, they will venture away from home to face off against Davis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
