Broome hasn't had much luck against Woodruff recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Broome Centurions just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Woodruff Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Monday, Broome needed a bit of extra time to put away Landrum. They snuck past the Cardinals with a 43-37 win.

Broome found their leader in sophomore Kourtney Wofford, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Wofford has been hot for a while, having also posted three or more steals the last 16 times she's played. Dakota Mitchell was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 12 boards.
Broome smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 17 offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Woodruff, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 61-40 margin over Union County on Friday. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Broome better focus on containing Jordan Robinson and Sadie Burnette as the pair were huge in Woodruff's win. Robinson went 7 of 17 on her way to 19 points and six steals, while Burnette posted 11 points in addition to eight rebounds and seven steals. Robinson continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kara West, who had six points and six steals.
Broome has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Woodruff, they pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.
