Bishop Carroll came out on top against East  on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fifth inning. The Golden Eagles put the hurt on the Aces with a sharp  10-0 win. The Golden Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 contests by six  runs or more this season.
 Emerson Hiebert looked comfortable as she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Olivia Navarro was  incredible,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Zoe Buessing, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  runs and one  RBI.
 Bishop Carroll  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in eight consecutive  matchups.
Bishop Carroll is  on a roll lately: they've  won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record  this season.
