Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Skyline's Eighth in Last Nine Outings

Skyline won against Woodville last Friday with 66 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Skyline Vikings came out on top against the Columbia Eagles by a score of 66-54. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Eagles back in November of 2024, they had to take a 56-53 loss.

Skyline has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points per game. As for Columbia, their defeat was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-23.

Skyline and Columbia are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Skyline will be playing in front of their home fans against Woodville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Columbia has already played their next match (against Lee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
