Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crestview). They never let the Willard Crimson Flashes get on the board and left with a 21-0 victory on Wednesday. The Cougars are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 15 straight.
PJ Endicott was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlee Crider, who went 4-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Crestview hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Willard struck out seven times.
Crestview's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Willard, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-19.
Crestview didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against St. Paul on the 16th. Willard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
