Football Game Preview: Kamehameha Kapalama Warriors vs. St. Louis Crusaders

Kamehameha Kapalama is 1-9 against St. Louis since October of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 5:00 p.m. St. Louis took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Kamehameha Kapalama, who comes in off a win.

Kamehameha Kapalama is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Hawaii's top teams: Punahou, who was ranked tenth at the time (Kamehameha Kapalama was ranked fifth). The Warriors simply couldn't be stopped last Saturday as they easily beat the Buff n' Blue 37-7. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, St. Louis took a blow against St. John Bosco two weeks ago, falling 49-20. The loss was the Crusaders' first of the season.

Kamehameha Kapalama's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for St. Louis, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Kamehameha Kapalama suffered a grim 33-9 defeat to St. Louis in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
