Volleyball Recap: Paige Strawser's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Seneca East over South Central

Seneca East was the 3-0 winner over South Central when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell 3-1 to the Trojans on Thursday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-20, 26-28, 25-16, 25-22.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Paige Strawser, who had 36 assists and three digs. Strawser is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 18 or more in each of the last eight games she's played. Paige Miller was another key player, getting 14 digs.

Seneca East's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for South Central, they pushed their record up to 11-12 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Seneca East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Central, they will venture away from home to take on Colonel Crawford at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
