Baseball Recap: Glenbrook South Comes Up Short

Glenbrook South lost against Libertyville back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Titans came up short against the Wildcats, falling 9-3.

Glenbrook South saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James Dooman, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Glenbrook South's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Libertyville, their record now sits at 18-2.

The future could be bright for both Glenbrook South and Libertyville: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Titans will look to extend Loyola Academy's three-game losing streak when they meet at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Libertyville will try to hand Waukegan their 11th-straight loss when the two meet at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
