Volleyball Recap: Arbor View Beats Poly for Their Third Straight Victory

Arbor View entered their tilt with Poly on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Parrots. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Aggies have posted since March 4th.

Risden Miller paced Arbor View's offense, picking up nine kills. Miller got some help from David Haldeman and his 24 assists. Haldeman was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Jao Libunoa and Brandon Campos certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Libunoa had 21 assists and six digs, while Campos had 12 digs and four assists. Libunoa is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 21 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Arbor View's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Poly, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-7.

Arbor View has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Foothill on the 5th. As for Poly, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Silverado on the 5th.
